ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

So a little over 24 hours ago, I was challenged by my cousin to do the ALS ice bucket challenge. I was unable to complete the challenge, due to lack of a person filming me and the fact that it's been raining off and on today. So in lieu of dumping freezing cold water over my head, I am going to donate the money to ALS, as soon as I have the chance.


I have known several people who have had family members go through the devastating effects of this horrific disease. I just hope that all the people who have done this challenge will donate money to this cause and not just dump ice water on their head just for their 30 seconds of internet fame.

So I am challenging all of my friends who haven't done this, to not dump the ice on their heads, but to donate the funds to this charity. If not for ALS, then for one of your choosing. There are a bunch of diseases that are seriously under funded because they are 'serious' enough. Just because millions of people don't suffer from this diseases doesn't mean that it isn't horrific.  

You don't have to donate a lot. You can donate as much as you can. Together, maybe we can find a cure for all of these horrific 'unknown' diseases that are devastating our families.  

I know that I won't be able to change the world by myself, it seems like it would be an impossible goal. However, if everyone gives a hand and does something good to make a positive influence maybe, just maybe, we can change the world.
